But by the end of the first month of the year, how many of us are still going?<\/p>\n<p>Probably fewer than we\u2019d care to admit. So if you\u2019re serious about getting fitter and healthier in 2019, what can you do to make sure you stay the course? An article for <u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myrecordjournal.com\/News\/Lifestyle\/Features\/Healthy-Living\/Developing-a-sustainable-New-Year-s-fitness-resolution.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">My Record Journal<\/a><\/u> recently offered some top tips.<\/p>\n<p>First up is that you don\u2019t need to join a gym to do exercise. If you\u2019ve tried working out at a gym before and found that it just doesn\u2019t work for you, then look for other options. Finding <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sistersnsport.com\">Putney netball lessons<\/a><\/u> could be ideal, for instance.<\/p>\n<p>You also don\u2019t need to train every day. The news provider notes that sticking to a routine is more important than hitting the gym every day. \u201cIt\u2019s better to commit to a twice a week workout than a rigorous four times a week workout,\u201d the article states.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to setting goals, make them small and specific. That way you won\u2019t get disillusioned because you still have a long way to go one month in, and it will allow you to set new goals as you progress throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>An article for <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joe.co.uk\/fitness-health\/new-year-fitness-resolutions-214215\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joe<\/a><\/u> also offered some tips on sticking to fitness goals in 2019.
