Declaration

I give permission for my child to attend a Sisters n Sport Netball Programme (Netball Camps, Netball Skills Schools & Elite Coaching Programmes) consent to any emergency medical treatment where necessary.

Data Protection

Sisters n Sport often have special offers running and so we will use your details to inform you of any other sport camps or workshops. We also work with some third parties and will inform you of offers we feel you will like. Please let us know if you do not want to receive this information. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Refunds & Cancellations

If the participant withdraws after being accepted refunds will not be made.  In the unlikely event of the course being unable to run - Sisters n Sport will rearrange the classes or provide credit for the following term/the SnS Shop.   This applies to Sisters n Sport Netball Programmes and entry into the Sisters n Sport Cup Competitions.

In the event of severe weather conditions an alternative theory coaching programme will be delivered for our Sisters n Sport Netball Programmes.

Photography

Photographs will be taken of participants during our Sisters n Sport Netball Programmes to be used for promotional material.

If a participant has strong views about not having their image publicised, they will need to make this clear before the classes.

All photographs will be stored securely and no names will be used in this storage or when used in promotions.  For more information please check our Privacy Policy

Insurance & Liability

Our coaches are covered by Public Liability Insurance from the UK.
Sisters n Sport Ltd cannot be held responsible for any act, omission or loss or damage unless proven to be caused by Sisters n Sport Ltd’s negligence. Sisters n Sport Ltd does not accept responsibility for events which are outside of our direct control. For girls attending in Switzerland – all participants need to provide their private medical insurance details when attending the camp.

Personal Property

Unfortunately, our staff do-not have the facilities to store valuable items securely at any of our sites and therefore it is important that you ensure children do not bring valuable toys and belongings to any Sisters n Sport Netball Programmes. Sisters n Sport Ltd will accept no liability for loss, damage, vandalism or theft of personal property owned by you or your child during a Sisters n Sport camp.
We will operate a lost property system but we cannot guarantee the return of lost items. To allow us to return your lost property, please ensure that all personal items, including all clothing, are clearly labelled with the child’s name.

Camp Drop Off / Collection

Parents/Guardians must sign a registration book when dropping off and collecting children
In the event that somebody different is to collect a child at the end of the camp, please ensure they know the password. In all instances where it is possible to contact Sisters n Sport please do so to ensure the staff are kept informed of the new collection

Health & Safety

A full risk assessment will be carried out before any activity takes place at a new venue.

Sisters n Sport is firmly committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for all young people to play netball. Sisters n Sport accepts its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all young people and protect them from poor practice, abuse and bullying.

With this in mind, Sisters n Sport follows the practice guidelines of England Netball who have developed a Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Netball Policy, Procedures and Guidelines that will apply to all individuals involved, paid or in a voluntary capacity in Sisters n Sport.

Sisters n Sport has in place measures to safeguard each individual child. These include:

  • At least one coach per camp with First Aid qualifications
  • Each child is required to be signed in and out at the beginning and end of each session

Competitions

February 2021 SistersnSport Baller Sweatshirt Competition
Summary:
We are giving away two Baller Sweatshirts  - one for you and one for your bestie teammate!
To celebrate the return of the Vitality Netball Superleague - Sisters n Sport are giving away to of their new Baller Sweatshirts.

Entries can be received between February 15th 2021 and February 21st 2021 at midnight, and you can enter only once. Entries must be on the original competition post, on either SistersnSport Facebook or Instagram posts. One winner will be picked at random using a random number generator.

  1. How to Enter

1.1. To join in the competition on Facebook, users will need to like and comment on the original Facebook competition post mentioning their best friend and follow the page. Both the competition entrant and their best friend will be entered into the competition draw. To join the competition on Instagram, users will need to like the original Instagram competition post, follow the account and tag their netball best friend. Both the competition entrant and their best friend will be entered into the competition draw.

1.2. The winner will be picked at random from all entries from Facebook and Instagram from February 15th-21st 2021

1.3. Each person can only enter once.

  1. When to Enter and Who can Enter

2.1. The Competition opens on 15th February 2021 and closes at midnight 21st February 2021. The one winner will be announced as soon as possible the
next day.

2.2. Entries can be received at any point between these dates.

2.3. The Competition can be won by anyone, excluding those connected with the administration of the Competition.

  1. Prizes

3.1. There will be one winner. The winner will receive two Baller Sweatshirts – one for them and one for their netball best friend.

3.2. The winner is very welcome to submit a review of their prizes.

3.3. The Prizes are as stated and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, goods or services. The Prizes will posted to the winner’s address.

4.1. The participants consent to their name and basic information being disclosed on SistersnSport’s digital channels or other media if they win any Prizes under the Competition.

4.2. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. By entering the Competition, you agree that SistersnSport may contact you in relation to the Competition.

4.3. Competition winners will be contacted by SistersnSport. You must provide accurate contact details on notification.

5.1. The Competition will be run and Prizes will be awarded at SistersnSport ‘s sole discretion.

5.2. We reserve the right to refuse entry into the Competition.

5.4. We reserve the right to change the Competition rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do so, we will always have the most up to date terms and conditions on the SistersnSport Facebook page and in the case of a discrepancy between these terms and conditions and those on Facebook, the Facebook terms and conditions will apply.

  1. Liability and Indemnities

6.1. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, SistersnSport and its associated companies and agents and distributors exclude responsibility and all liabilities, whether direct or indirect, arising from:

6.1.1. any postponement or cancellation of the Competition;

6.1.2. any changes to, supply of or use of the Prizes; and 6.1.3. any act or default of any supplier, which are beyond SistersnSport’s reasonable control.

6.2. SistersnSport does not accept responsibility for any liability arising from technical incompatibility, problems relating to the internet, or technical difficulties of any kind

6.3. SistersnSport shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goods, loss of use, loss or corruption of data or information, or any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses

6.4. You agree to indemnify SistersnSport against all liabilities, claims and expenses that may arise from any breach of your agreement with SistersnSport.

6.5. This competition is in no way endorsed by Facebook. By entering this competition you agree to a complete release of Facebook from all liability in connection with this competition.

  1. Jurisdiction
    7.1. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law. English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.

November 2020 SistersnSport Black Friday Netball Bestie Bracelet Competition
Summary:
We are giving away two silver netball charm bracelets  - one for you and one for your bestie teammate!
