SISTERS n SPORT National Netball Shield for Schools 2025/26 – U14 Shield Draw

Please find R1 of the draw below.

Group Fixtures.

  • Some of the feedback received indicated that some schools would like to play two fixtures in a day.
  • All of the fixtures have been grouped into 4 schools/byes – this means you can arrange a group fixture to play R1 of the Shield and then R2 of the Shield/R1 of the Bowl if possible.
  • Therefore 1v2 and 3v4 (the winning teams then play in R2 of the Shield and the losing teams play in R1 of the Bowl)
  • The first named school in the group of 4 would be the home team and would organise. If you organise a central venue – please split costs accordingly and consider travel.
  • Please note that this group of 4 will be your next round fixtures.

Home & Away
For R1 – 1v2 and 3v4 (the winning teams then play in R2 of the Cup/Shield/Trophy and the losing teams play in R1 of the Plate/Bowl/Vase).

This means you can pre-book your R2 Cup/Shield/Trophy fixture or R1 of Plate/Bowl/Vase fixture. If you are named school 1 or 2 – you will be the home fixture for the next round. i.e. If you are number 1 and you win – you will be home fixture for R2 and if you are number and you lose – you would be the home fixture for the R1 fixture of the Plate/Bowl/Vase.

Example below;
1 – Upton-by-Chester
2 – The Grange School
3 – Wirral Grammar School for Girls
4 – Bridgewater High School

R1 – 1v2, 3v4 HOME TEAM 1 and 3 – If Upton-by-Chester win R1 – they host R2, if The Grange School lose R1 – they host R1 of Plate/Bowl/Vase. Winner of 3 v 4 – would travel to Upton-by-Chester and the losing team would travel to play The Grange School.

After R1 and R2/R1, SnS will be allocating home or away each round (it will not always be the first named team in the SOCS draw)

If your school is missing from the draw, please send me an email asap. Any updates will be sent next week.

All fixtures will be on SOCS from September.

Fixtures are subject to change, sufficient notice will be given to schools to be able to plan the fixtures.

Arrangement of Matches

  • The Home team must initially provide three dates to the Away team.
  • If the Home team does not receive a response within 48hrs – please resend the email and cc Sisters n Sport (snsnationalcup@sistersnsport.com)
  • If as the Away team you have not received an email from the home team – please email the school and cc Sisters n Sport (snsnationalcup@sistersnsport.com)
  • This will help to speed up the arrangements of matches.
Our aim through the competitions is for as many girls to take the court as possible – therefore we will try and facilitate all the matches being played.
  • IF your school uses SOCS – please add the playing date to the draw and this helps with future rounds.

For following rounds the match should be arranged within 7 days of the previous round being completed – see dates above.

Teams unable to agree a date by the deadline must both inform the organiser during this 7 day period.   Sisters n Sport will then decide the date and start time of the match.   Any decision Sisters n Sport make will be final and binding.

Deadline Extensions
We understand that school calendars can be full – especially around the holidays – and so extensions can be granted – please email snsnationalcup@sistersnsport.com for permission.

Extensions must be agreed by Sisters n Sport -this is important to avoid holding up the following rounds.
