SISTERS n SPORT CRICKET CUP
Registration and Payment of Entry
All registrations must be made online via the Sisters n Sport Website – payment can be online or via invoice.
Eligibility of Players
Any girl in full time education at a participating school, who falls into the correct age range:
U12 Competition – School Years 6/7
U13 Competition – School Years 7/8
U15 Competition – School Years 9/10
Should a pupil move school during the academic year she may still be eligible for her new school, even having previously represented her previous school – permission needs to be granted by SISTERS n SPORT – please email snsnationalcup@sistersnsport.com
During finals staff should carry proof of age for all players and registration forms will be sent out to schools prior to finals day.
Competition Organisation
The competition shall be played on a knock-out basis with all matches to be decided on the day, with no replays.
The team highlighted will have the home advantage.
Date Schedule for National Cup Rounds - 2025:
1st Round – to be played by 3rd May 2025
2nd Round – to be played by 17th May 2025
3rd Round – to be played by 31st May 2025
Quarter-Finals – to be played by 14th June 2025
Semi-Final & Finals – Centralised finals w/c23rd June 2025
The National SF and Finals will be at a central venue

The Competition
Match Format - Pairs Cricket
• Teams of 8 Players
• Each pair will bat for two overs (16 overs)
• Players will not be dismissed when out (they will be deducted 5 runs per wicket/run out/ catch)
• No balls and wides will result in the batting team being rewarded by 2 runs
• Each team will start with 200 runs
Wicket & Boundary Sizes: - 17 yds and 35 yds
Ball - Soft Orange Ball
Scoring Sheet - will be sent with the fixtures
In the case of a draw
If there is a draw then the winning team will be the team with the most wickets
Sharing of Data for Fixtures
By entering the Sisters n Sport National Cup Competitions, we will need to share your contact details (Name, Email and Contact Number) with the other schools within the competitions for you to be able to organise fixtures. Please let us know if there is a problem – snsnationalcup@sistersnsport.com
Publicity
Competing schools shall use the proper name of the competition ‘Sisters n Sport National Girls Cricket Cup’ or #snsgirlscricketcup when using social media. Please feel free to tweet us scores/photographs etc to @sistersnsport
Control
Decisions regarding any point of contention will be made by Sisters n Sport. Sisters n Sport reserve any right to deal with any matters not specifically provided for in the Rules of Competition and to take whatever action they deem to be appropriate. Sisters n Sport are not responsible for any injury or loss experienced during the competition.
