As part of a major rebrand, World Netball has launched a campaign to showcase, recognise and celebrate the sport of netball through a giant virtual mosaic.
The campaign, entitled Your Netball World, is the first action by the former International Netball Federation to celebrate everyone in the sport, from the netball coach teaching an intake of young players to the highest echelons competing for the Netball World Cup.
People who participate are also entered into a price draw for an all-expenses-paid trip to Cape Town, South Africa to watch the 2023 Netball World Cup.
Each picture will be accompanied by a story, and once the mosaic is completed, all of the images will display the World Netball logo and highlight the united nature of Netball, which has much closer links to its grassroots than other world sports.
Each picture tells a story of a life that has been changed or enriched through their engagement with the sport and is constantly updated in real-time.
Amongst these images is one of recent Vitality Netball Superleague winner Beth Cobden, who celebrated the friendship, challenges and memories netball has given her.
The past year has been a rather unique one for Netball, with the sport receiving some of its greatest exposure to date, in part due to every match of the most recent Superleague being shown on Sky Sports and giving the sport increased exposure.
The former INF took advantage of this with a rebrand to World Netball, which involved a new logo design reflecting the five World Netball regions, as well as a focus towards increasing access to the sport for everyone from the grassroots upward.
